Morgex is a quiet mountain town, overwhelmed by a beautiful view of Mont Blanc.

Located in the central part of the Valley, Morgex has a direct access to the motorway and the railroad. Having very central position in the Valdigne, but in the whole Aosta Valley as well, and an easy access to France, Morgex is unique position for the one wishing to visit the entire area.
Maybe the least touristic place in the Valdigne, Morgex offers more economical solutions and is not bound to the seasonality and therefore shops and restaurants stay open even during the low season. The different areas aimed for children, a beautiful library, markets make it a little gem for those looking for a special place to relax and get away from the fast pace of everyday life.
There are diverse beautiful hiking trails of different levels all around Morgex. In Loc Arpy there are also cross-country skiing and several tracks for snowshoeing.
Morgex also offers some interesting culinary specialties and local products.

First of all, here is produced the wine Blanc de Morgex, obtained in the highest vineyards of Europe. La Cave du Vin Blanc and other local small Winery organize interesting food and wine events where you can taste the various products and celebrate in the tranquil atmosphere.

Then, in the craft area, situated next to the sport campus, there is a small workshop producing the fabulous Bises de Morgex, Friandises de Morgex, rustic shortbreads, and tegoline, made in the old way, typical for the place. If you do not feel like cooking, the same workshop offers ready-made meals such as crepes and lasagne, different kind of pasta and delicious cakes, just like home made delicious plates…
Just outside the highway, 100 meters further along the main road, there is the dairy Fromagerie Panizzi, where you can find all local products.
In the centre of this town you can find groceries and other small shops offering local products, such as the butcher shop, grocery vending fresh fruits and vegetables, and one vending the coffee, a local brand.
