SHOPPING
Small groceries and markets can be found in all the towns and villages of High Aosta Valley.
The biggest supermarket is “Famila” and it is located in Morgex, along the national road n° 26. Even Courmayeur has a small supermarkets, one on the way over to the cable car going to Plan Chécrouit , another right after the first roundabout and one Discount along the back road going to the Val Ferret.
In Morgex you can also buy local specialties at Dairy – Fromagerie Panizzi, the typical wines of the area, obtained in the highest vineyards of Europe, can be found at La Cave du Vin Blanc (both places can be reached just on the left side of the motor way) as well as at the winery Pavese, where among other things you can taste some of the typical wines and where diverse events are organized.
In the industrial area of Morgex, there is a craft workshop, “Les Délices de la Valdigne“, where you can find delicious readymade meals, fresh egg pasta and typical cakes and biscuits

The Valdigne offers a wide range of restaurants suitable to all tastes.
Morgex
Morgex offers an impressive wide range of typical restaurants, for all tastes. In the town square you can find the stylish Café Quinson and the absolute must visit Trattoria Pizzeria Da Beppe, where you can taste homemade dishes.
In the little shopping center right next the Famila supermarket, you can also try tasty “Focaccia” at Focacceria Bagnasco. Take away and not.
You can getlovely take-way pizza in hamlet La Ruine, at Pizza-Out. You can also have your pizza in their little déhor or even in the lovely pinewood with playground right across the road.

La Salle
Not far away from Moregx, in La Salle central place, next the church, you can have a lovely meal in a nice little bistrot (perfect for couple), the Petit Gourmet
La Thuile
In the centre of town, 50 meters from the apartment “La Belette”, there is the Cocktail Bar – Steak House Restaurant Coq Maf. Here you can taste not only meat, but also wonderful pasta dishes and touristic menus, local specialties. All over the village, you can find many other nice Restaurants, typical and not. In the winter some refuges, as Lo Riondet organize evenings at the high altitude. The trip in the snowmobile under the clear, frosty winter sky is an experience itself. If then you want to stay in the refuge you can enjoy a warm and cosy retreat, excellent dishes and good wine. And if you are an adventurous spirit you may choose to return skiing, in the snowshoes or even in the sled!
Courmayeur
In Courmayeur there is plenty of restaurants and pizzerias, the streets of the centre offer a plenty of choice. In the same Road of La Tana apartment, you can find nice and friendly La Boite, Pizzeria and Italian Restaurants. If you are looking for something elegant, a good choice is definitely the Rest. Pierre Alexis, right in the pedestrian centre. If you are looking for something a bit more familiar, but with an excellent quality / price ratio, then you take a short walk to the bridge of Verrand and go to the Steak House Pizzeria L’Etoile (from the apartment La Tana it takes only 10 min walk along the road above the cable car, direction Pré-Saint-Didier) . In the winter, the cable car Plan Chécrouit (the one right next La Tana) remains open until midnight for après-ski and dinner at high altitude.
